  • We all wish we had stunning locations to photograph all our clients. The reality is, many of us have to make do with average, everyday banquet halls and typical outdoor locations. Amy will walk you through what she does to create beautiful art for her clients in the most average of places.
  • We will go into how I consult with my clients prior to our Children's Character Portrait Session. What I’m after and the “Authenticity” that we need in order to make these type of pictures to really shine. The clothing, the dirt, the expression, and the props. We’ll then go into how we produce the portraits including how I light them, what I’ve found to be good working exposures, the poses that work well, and how many shots I try to make. These portraits are also about efficiency. Finally, we’ll go into the post production that I do to finish these images along with sizes I offer to clients. These are commissioned portraits rather than volume sessions. Questions - Its my goal to leave you prepared to start producing these as soon as you are ready. The great thing about in person education is being able to ask questions. So please don’t be afraid to ask - it’s the best way we can all learn!
  • If you ever wanted to experience an evening of shooting with a master photographer showing you the best in posing and lighting, this is the event for you! James Schmelzer is an award winning photographer, lecturer, and has been the technical representative for F.J. Westcott Company for over 30 years. James has been actively involved in designing new light modifier products as well as creating instructional videos demonstrating control of light. James is also a Sigma Photo Pro, and a Lumix Luminary, He conducts workshops, speaks at seminars, and demonstrates at trade shows.
  • Ever wonder what it would be like to fly? Have you been curious about becoming a Drone pilot and adding a new product line to your existing business or maybe starting a new business altogether? Join Michael, an F.A.A. licensed, sUAS pilot, as we navigate this exciting new adventure together. There are many things to consider in this new opportunity to photographers and entrepreneurs alike. Is it right for you? Let Michael help you determine that before you invest many hours and dollars into this venture.
This two hour program will give you the basic information that you need to make the decision on whether to purchase a drone for your business or hire out the services of a licensed pilot. There really is more to it than just buying a drone.
  • "I didn't know you were posing me!"

We hear it all the time from our clients...I don't want our pictures to look "POSED" but they want the most flattering pictures they can get so what's a photographer to do? Playful posing keeps your clients so distracted they don't realize you're actually sneaking in that dreaded posing. But first you have to understand what's going on in your client's mind. We will dig into what clients are worried about going into a photo shoot and why they put up barriers. Then we'll talk about ways to move them through those barriers into a relaxed playful attitude that allows you to do your work. We'll talk about prompts that work and ways to have more fun with your clients.
